What's an immortal prayer? Is it praising the Lord in every and every situation? That's impossible, isn't it? Er...well..let's think. No, it's not! Read acts chapter 16 there's the story about Paul and Silas:
About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them.(verse 25) Wow, they're in prison and nevertheless they praise the Lord and sing sonds to him. That's an immortal prayer..praising the Lord in every circumstance, no matter what was going on before, just praising our heavenly father for what He is. God is as perfect as before even if the situations is really awful. You can find a reason to praise the Lord even if your life seems to be a dead-end. I made this exeperience, yes YOU CAN:) Sometimes I just don't take the time to enjoy how wonderful natur is or how awesome people are. Know what I mean? Life isn't always easy that's fact and there's such a lot of pain and violence in this world but there are also wonderful things here wich are forgotten by us humans so often. The flowers, meadows, rivers, the ocean....moments spent with wonderful persons, laughing, being out with friends, music, art...wonderful pictures, the sun, warmth, hugs....and hundreds more. So I should find a reason to praise the Lord whatever's going on in my life. I just have to take the time to look at these wonderful things...:)
